Latin Jazz

Saturdays, 6am - 9am

“Latin Jazz” on WJSU combines rhythms from African and Latin American countries with jazz and classical harmonies from Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and the United States.  On the three-hour program, listeners will enjoy recent chart-toppers, as well as hear from legends, like conga player Poncho Sanchez, percussionist Tito Puente, and pianist Michel Camilo to name a few.  Tune in Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. for contemporary to traditional “Latin Jazz” rhythms on WJSU.
