Latin Jazz

Weekdays, 4pm - 5pm & Saturdays, 6am - 9am

“Latin Jazz” on WJSU combines rhythms from African and Latin American countries with jazz and classical harmonies from Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and the United States.  Listeners will enjoy recent chart-toppers, as well as hear from legends, like conga player Poncho Sanchez, percussionist Tito Puente, and pianist Michel Camilo to name a few.  Tune in weekdays 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. for contemporary and traditional “Latin Jazz” rhythms on WJSU.
